A running list of celeb behaviour...
Updated: Aug 28, 2020
During these grim times, it seems celebrities still want to entertain. And with no access to the outside world, they are getting pretty creative on how they connect with fans. Here are some weird and wonderful things celebrities have been posting on their socials.

Those using their talents for good
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) unlocks his 'Centr' workout app for free usage while ex-bachelor Sam Wood has provided free workouts on Instagram live so people can stay fit.
Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman are just some of the many singers/bands doing virtual gigs via Instagram whilst, The Wiggles have been doing live concerts on their socials to keep the kids entertained.
Those using their talents in an unexpected way
American singer Lizzo has been leading meditations on her Instagram, her famous flute transitioning from pop to meditative melodies.
K-pop band BTS have partnered with app Weverse to develop thirty 3-min Korean language lessons to ensure their fans outside Korea can fully understand their music.
NBA players have started gaming and streaming on Twitch as they face a few months of boredom as their season was cancelled.
Comedian and radio host Andy Lee has been reading his kids books on Instagram Live to help parents in need of some entertainment for their kids in lockdown.
Celebrities have been posting videos on TikTok washing their hands whilst singing for 40 secs to encourage people to have correct hygiene at this time. The #safehands video challenges on TikTok have over 2 billion views.
Those going entirely off script...
In perhaps the most out of touch move so far...Queen of Coachella Vanessa Hudgens took to Instagram live to vent her frustration with the virus by saying “I'm sorry, but, like, it's a virus … I get it. I respect it. But at the same time, even if everybody gets it, like, yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible but, like … inevitable?” – safe to say, she’s copping an expected amount of backlash for her comments.
Inspired by people singing from their balconies, celebrities banded together to sing a (pretty terrible) rendition of ‘imagine’. Led by Gal Gadot, celebrities like Jimmy Fallon, Amy Adams and Sia joined in. Even though they probably meant well, the video has received a lot of flack and has been the victim to many parodies, including one of aussie artists uniting to sing Untouched by The Veronicas.
Britney Spears has been heralded as the new face of socialism as she posted on instagram, calling for strikes and the redistribution of wealth.
And finally... Madonna doesn’t care about how smart or funny or famous you are as she imparted that COVID-19 is an equaliser shared her thoughts whilst naked.. in a tub.. full of rose petals...from her mansion.
