SKIMS (KIM KARDASHIAN WEST) X TEAM USA (THE OLYMPICS)
It was announced this week that Kim Kardashian's 'underwear, loungewear and shapewear' brand SKIMS will be provide the official provider of undergarments, loungewear and pyjamas for Team USA at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
Ironically Kim originally tried to call the SKIMS brand "KIMONO" and trademark the word but changed the name after facing serious backlash. Interestingly Kim is of course also the step daughter of previous Olympic athlete Caitlyn Jenner
YEEZY (KANYE) X GAP
Keeping it in the family we have the much hyped Yeezy collab with GAP 'Round jacket'. The jacket retails at USD $200 (low for Yeezy, high for Gap) has no fixtures to close it. What points it may lose for draftiness however it surely makes up for in blueness.
The first reveal of the garment in early June came a full year after GAP announced the Yeezy partnership.
RYAN REYNOLDS AND ROB MCELHEINNEY X TIK TOK AND WREXHAM AFC
The two comedy (predominantly) comedy actors have taken joint ownership of football (read soccer) club Wrexham AFC. This is part of an interesting media journey that will also include a Netflix show 'Welcome to Wrexham'. The famous faces have managed to secure Tik Tok as a major sponsor for the club, with the brand logo appearing on the soccer team's jerseys as well as some pretty amazing content opportunities I'm sure.
The announcement of the sponsorship was done characteristically comedically.

JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT X DR. MARTENS
The estate of incredibly famous artist Basquiat, represented by Artestar has teamed up with historic British shoe brand Dr. Martens for a second time. The new range will feature two of the artists most famous works Untitled (1982) and Pez Dispenser to the well loved Dr. Martens boot and shoe styles, as well as on the face of a black leather backpack.

BILLIE EILISH X AIR JORDAN
Although there has been no official announcement yet, noone is as keen as a sneakerhead so when apparently leaked images surfaced recently there was a lot of buzz. The supposed collab is a monochromatic take on the famous Jordan 1 KO model, which Billie has been known to sport. Word is that something more official will be out by September.
KID CUDI X OFFWHITE
The rapper/singer unexpectedly wore a floral dress whilst performing a tribute to the late Kurt Cobain during Saturday Night Live. While this happened in April the event is still in the news, with the rapper only recently responding to large backlash. Kid Cudi was paying homage to when Cobain wore a dress, and had referenced the occasion and spoken to a designer to create something for the performance.
After the event Kid Cudi took to social media to announce the dress was a part of an upcoming collaboration with the Off-White brand.

A$AP ROCKY X VANS
In a GQ piece earlier this year the famous rapper announced an upcoming partnership with Vans. Further details have yet to be released however is A$AP's previous collaborations are anything to go by the new shoes will be hot property. He has formerly created fashion with Parisian designer Marine Serre, with Adidas and when the rapper released a limited number of sneakers via a collaboration with Under Armour the shortage meant that some of the 'SRLo' shoes were reselling for as much as $60,000. Currently loved up with Rihanna who herself boasts huge success with Fenty, I for one would like to see a power couple collab on the cards.
